Well the time has come, it is New Years Eve. Time for everyone to break out the sequins, champagnes, and 'never-gonna-keep-em' resolutions! I am taking a cue from Leandra and instead of breaking out the mini sequins skirts of dresses, I'm going to have a party on my pants which will indeed be much more comfortable.
Hellloooo! Sorry I have been totally MIA as I've been traveling for the holidays and for some unknown reason my parents internet at their house was as slow as dial up. Come back to SF and our apartment is a construction zone so I've been a little crazed. Anyways I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and that you got lots of presents. With all this running around I find myself being drawn to the comfort and ease of a T-shirt dress that I have, not proudly, worn one too many times this week.
Well gang, I am now back home in GA for the holiday season and I could not be more excited to be surrounded by all my friends and family as we sip glögg (swedish drink - recipe here) by the fireplace and all catch up on each other's lives. This is by far my favorite holiday of the year and tonight we are going downtown to look at all the christmas lights which means cozying up in chunky sweaters, coats, and of course a knitted turban to keep my ears warm!
There are few items every woman should have in her classic such as a sharp blazer, black pumps, great pair of fitting jeans, and a white button down blouse. Searching high and low I have found my favorites are by Equipment. I could use more than one as I wear mine at least once a week, if not more. Great for casual friday at the office with some skinny jeans and booties.
I am serious sucker for a striped sweater. You can dress it up or dress it down with such ease which is exactly what I plan on doing tonight. I am attending the boyfriend's holiday office party tonight and while I don't want to be overdressed I figured a great boot and stylish sweater is always a great start to any outfit.
Currently, as always, I am craving a new handbag. Im on the hunt for a new nude colored purse. Found some wonderful ones while hunting on the world wide web from all different price points.

Happy Monday everyone! It is a gloomy Monday here in SF which means its the perfect way to sit in my PJs sipping on some coffee as I type this wonderful post before heading out for the day. Going to be running around today and then meeting friends for happy hour so need to find a work appropriate outfit that easily transitions into a night out with the girls.
As christmas quickly approaches I am suddenly realizing that right behind this joyous holiday comes NYE! Such an over-rated holiday but quit possibly the most anticipated one as it is filled with hope and promise of a great new year to come. This means one should always be dressed to the 9s for such an important event. I always opt for sequins or for basic blacks when choosing my NYE dresses, what is your go to for NYE dress?!
As I noticed with my previous post, I am a self diagnosed denim addict. One can never have too many denim jeans in any color but I also believe I have become quite the hoarder of denim shirts. Wonder if they have denim rehab?!
Every fashionista needs to gain inspiration somewhere whether it be the glossy pages of Vogue or people watching on the streets of Paris. Lately, I have been combing the pages of Pinterest. Hands down my new favorite website that has caused me to lose countless hours of my days but you won't hear my complaining. Here are a few snapshots of some of my favorite fashion pins.
Clearly I'm a jeans type of girl after reviewing all these pictures...
Such a gorgeous day outside today and it's also the last free Sunday the bf has before he starts his new job tomorrow so, we are out to celebrate and what better way to celebrate than endless mimosa's at brunch!
With Christmas around the corner, I have holiday shopping on the mind constantly. I'm honestly not asking for much other than a boat load of kitchen supplies and housing decorations as the boy and I are still settling into our new home but here are a few items that I sure wouldn't mind finding under the christmas tree either.
Essie Marshmellow & Top Coat Polish // DVF Harper Leather Satchel //
So I am a Rihanna fanatic. I just love this chick and her new album is amazing but is making me want to break out my inner rock star. I have always wanted some vintage rock'n'roll t shirt so I think I should just add that to my christmas list this year. Wish I was this bad ass in person.
Pants: Rich & Skinny // Shirt: River Island // Blazer: TIBI //
Booties: BCBG // Clutch : River Island
Recently purchased an early christmas present from myself from J.Crew. This heart sweater is so stinkin cute and incredibly comfortable. Paired with boyfriend jeans and ankle booties = total hit with my friends.
Sweater: J.Crew // Boots: Vena Cava // Purse: Asos // Jeans : Quiksilver
I have been dying to get my hands on a cape this season. It is THE item this winter according to every single fashion magazine out there. Found a couple I certainly wouldn't mind finding under the christmas tree this year.
1. Dorothy Perkins taupe twill toggle cape
2. J. Crew knitted wool cape
3. Chris & Jamie trench cape
4. DVF Morinne cotton-twill cape
Ahhh my favorite day of the week has returned. Sunday. So relaxing and so happy to spend this sunday with good friends at brunch down in the Marina. Today is a day to go as casual as I can, partly because I still feel bloated from the feast of Turkey Day. Thank god for baggy sweatshirts.
Pants: J Brand Bright Red 811 Skinny // Sweatshirt: Quiksilver //
Leopard Flats: Steven by Steve Madden // Purse : H&M // Necklace: House of Harlow
This is by far my favorite time of year. Spending time with family and friends, eating boat loads of food all while wrapped up in a cozy holiday sweater. I am constantly on the look for new sweaters since I believe one can never have too many. Here are some I found that Im craving...
1. 3.1 Phillip Lim Reindeer Merino Wool-Blend Sweater
2. Calypso St. Barth Sadie Cable Lace Sweater
3. Target Mossimo Supply Co. Pullover Sweater
4. J. Crew Chunky-Knit Fair Isle Sweater
Date night with the boy-toy ended up as a black out. Go figure as a recent transplant from New York that my wardrobe is stocked full with any and everything black but at least it goes with everything.
Shirt: James Perse // Jeans: Rich & Skinny // Scarf: Forever 21 //
Clutch: H&M // Shoes: Chinese Laundry
I have been stuck in skinny jeans/leggings and boots since the temperature dropped below 70 degree and I have to bust out of my rut! Hello Boot Cut jeans. Why have I not been wearing you all along, you make my legs look a thousand times longer and my booty only a little bit smaller. Also H&M came out with this gorgeous leather bag that is similar to the Foley + Corinna bag without the big price tag. Obsessed.
Jeans: Citizens of Humanity // Sweater: Monki // Clogs: H&M //
Belt: Dorothy Perkins // Watch: Michael Kors // Bag: H&M
Sunday is by far my favorite day of the week. In San Francisco it means brunch, in Georgia it means family dinner. So all in all it's always a good day with good food and good friends. Yum in my tum. How fantastic is this sweater I found at Old Navy? Such a steal...
Went and hung out in mission today and noticed it was a little something like Brooklyn... hipster city. Thank god I decided to wear my black rimmed glasses for no reason. I fit in perfectly. Just needed to throw on a beanie and add a little tats to my arm and I could have sat at the coffee shop all day.
Ahh the life of the currently unemployed has made the first two weeks in San Francisco incredibly enjoyable. Sightseeing galore. Been to the Grey Whale Cove, Half Moon Bay, Golden Gate Park, Chrissy Field, Ikea in Oakland, Union Square and today we are tackling Fisherman's Wharf. Apparently October is the warmest month in San Francisco and since it is now November... brrrrrr. Found a bunch of cute clothes at H&M though to hopefully keep me warm!
Halloween weekend. Sigh. True love with true hangovers that can only be cured by the spiciest bloody mary at Sunday brunch. Today's brunch will be Pasta Pomodoro's in Noe Valley.
Went out last night with all the girls. We had such a fun night out in the Marina. First stop La Barca for drinks then next door to Mas Sake for sushi then we were off to The Tipsy Pig for drinks. So fun being reunited with everyone again. A quick breakdown of my outfit last night:

2. Sara Berman Studded Leather Mini
3. Forever 21 Black Tights
4. French Connection Shard Choker
5. Asos Quilted Across Body Bag

San Francisco weather is crazy. One day I was at the beach with 85 degree weather and the next thing I know when I woke up this morning it was a chilly 48 degrees outside. Brrrrr. Good news is to keep warm and comfortable all you need are three things. 1. Sweater dress. 2. Leggings. 3. Boots.
1. Uniqlo Lambswool Boat-neck Tunic
2. TopShop Leggings
3. Cordani Waverly Boots
4. Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac Clutch
5. Mirelle Gold Feather Earrings
6. Marc by Marc Jacobs Tortoise Cuff
I know what your probably thinking, "beach weather? in october? chick must be crazy". But I promise you I am not. As a newbie to Cali I think the weather gods have graced us with 80 degree weather with nothing but pure sunshine. So we're off to the beach, Gray Whale Cove to be exact. Awesome little beach down Interstate 1 just above Half Moon Bay and the best part is... it's a nude beach. I'm weirdly excited and also a little nervous. Hope there aren't too many old men just 'hanging' out if you catch my drift. Excited for a fun day with close friends and good food & booze with the sand between my toes.
1. shimmi nicole lace-up bandeau bikini
2. monki burnt orange sweater
3. madewell denim midi shorts
4. modcloth vintage seaside soda shop towel
5. witchery holly canvas tote
So as you all are aware, I have recently moved ALLLL the way across the country to San Francisco and am quickly learning it's chilly here. Layers, I need lots of layers. The best part is layers are so freaking affordable. My favorite go to stores for sweaters are H&M and Old Navy. Today is quite possibly the perfect chilly so I figured I would let you know exactly what it is I'm rocking.

5 long days on the road and I can tell you now that I lived in the same thing all 5 days. Leggings, tanks, sweaters, possible scarves, "driving socks", flip flops, and a big ol' purse. If the internet was my closet this would have been my outfit all 5 days.
1. inhabit twisted racer-back linen tank
2. dkny jersey and leather leggings
3. vince cable-knit wool-blend cardigan
4. sm luxe catch gladiator sandals (similar here)
5. yves sant laurent roady leather hobo bag
We finally made it. Left NY 12 days ago and have now arrived in San Francisco. 5 long days on the road, 6 great days hanging with friends and family all over the country and one day with no internet service. So much fun seeing everyone and catching up with them and I could not be more excited to see what San Francisco has to offer but more than anything... I'm just happy to be out of that car.

Well it's here. Football season. And I am not the biggest football fan but the boyfriend is which means I'll probably become a football fanatic in weeks to come. The good thing is that I am always a fan of getting out of the apartment and checking out new bars to watch the game and drink some tasty Hoegaarden. Yummm!
