How gorgeous is this red coat.  It's by a french brand called Comptoir De Cotonniers and I found them in Bloomingdales.  They have some of the most beautiful clothes.  Absolutely stunning.  I hope I'll be able to find them in San Francisco.

Emmy's Best Dressed

So as every young fashionista who watches awards show, I don't care about the awards... I care about the dresses.  This years Emmy's did not disappoint. Sure I love Kate Winslet but she has done her dress in every color. Yawn. Gwyneth Paltrow's dress made it look like she had a muffin top which she obviously didn't. Lea Michele's dress didn't play up her sexy figure enough and Heidi Klum's dress was just missing the Italian dressing on her lettuce dress. But here are some pictures of the girls I think killed it this year.

Kaley Cuoco in Romona Keveza
Sofia Vergara in Vera Wang

Rashida Jones in Alberta Ferretti

Kristen Wiig in Zac Posen

So Long, Farewell

Sorry I haven't been posting clearly as much as I should but things have been crazy as I've said before but I vow to push through and do a little better from here on out.  How's that sound? Good.  So part of the craziness has been saying goodbye to my beloved job.  It's been fun, it's been crazy, it's been real.

Now I guess it's time to pack, buy a car, and drive out to San Francisco. You know, the usual.

San Francisco

Things have been pretty hectic around here lately what with Fashion's Night Out, Fashion Week, and on top of it all... I'm moving! I am leaving the all too hectic and all too crowded city of New York for The Golden State. San Francisco here I come.  I am sad about leaving New York but am starting to get really excited about the new adventures to come in San Francisco.

OMGosh I am so excited but nervous for anyone on the roads on my way out there... haven't driven a car in about a year.  Wish me luck! These next three weeks are going to FLY by!

Model Crush

I have been watching countless models strut their stuff on catwalks this week and I have a full on lady crush on Arizona Muse. She was absolutely breathtaking at the Rag & Bone show.  swooon.

As a girl I have tried just about every beauty/make-up product in the western hemisphere. Luckily I think in my 23 years on life I have narrowed it down to these basics.  Of course I have an unhealthy collection of MAC eyeshadow to play with but what girl doesn't?

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup, Chanel Powder, Benefit Hoola Bronzer, Sonia Kashuk Creme Blush, Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow, Diors Waterproof Liner, Nars Eyelash Curler, CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara, Kiehl's Lip Balm in Cranberry, SEPHORA Antibacterial brush set

So excited for the wedding tonight.  Its going to be just wonderful plus I get to break out my brand new Tibi dress.  Thanks you Bloomingdales for having a sale! Now I just have to figure out the shoes, bag, jewelry, hair, and makeup.... so much work to get purrrtty for a weeding.

Flying in Style...

I believe airport style to be incredibly important.  You are making an entrance to a new city, state, or country and those people need to know that you mean business.  My flying style is a mixture of edge and comfort. You will almost always see me in jeans of some sort and a slouchy shirt.  A scarf is a must for anybody flying and I never wear heels to the airport, can't run in those suckers (I always run late).

1. Current/Elliot skinny jean
2. Acne top
3. Alexander McQueen black folk medium tote
5. Sambag plain leather ballet flats

Weekend at the lake...

Tomorrow, the boyfriend and I are heading back down to my home state of Georgia for a wedding weekend getaway.  We are staying at a lake house with about 25 people and planning to stay on the water for most of it.  I could not be more excited but I get sincere anxiety about what to pack so I put together what I believe to be an effective idea of what I should be packing.
